A Conversation
She came with a cup of coffee. I waited with a cup of tea. We met and talked with a bottle of mineral water.
“I like tea..” she said, “..but I need caffeine more. Just to help me struggle with my daily routine.” — I nodded.
“I’m not a fan of coffee..” I said, “..but yeah, coffee is not that bad. I think I’m gonna get some.” — She smiled.
We are different. But we are the same. We’re neutralizing each other. Completing each other’s needs. Fulfilling relationship.
She is the opposite of me and obviously vice versa. But we compromise. We understand. We accept and we’re still in love.
We both have different points of view. Both are strong. But we talk to each other, genuinely– just to meet in the middle.
Every conversation with her is a treasure. Whether it’s a deep or a silly one. Every convo brings us to the new level of understanding.
I feel. She thinks. She uses her head often and I use my heart daily. We use our lips and let them blend as one.
I try to understand what’s in her head. She tries to listen what’s in my heart. We connect through words– voices and silence.
We don’t know what will happen tomorrow, but surely we’ve got plans– to still be together and still love each other.
